Abstract

• The paddy harvested area in 2022 will reach around 57,152 hectares, an increase of 1,447 hectares or 2.60 percent compared to the paddy harvested area in 2021 which amounted to 55,705 hectares.

• Rice production in 2022, which is 281,610 tons of GKG, has increased by 10,493 tons of GKG or 3.87 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 271,117 tons of GKG.

• Rice production in 2022 for food consumption for the population will reach 162,197 tons, an increase of 6,044 tons or 3.87 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 156,154 tons.
