Abstract

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) quarter II-2019 in Bengkulu Province is 127.39. Illustrates that consumer perceptions of economic conditions in quarter II-2019 are optimistic and have increased when compared to the previous quarter (index 101.33).
The optimistic consumer perception of economic conditions is caused by the increase in current income (index 126.16) and the volume of consumption of goods / services (index 135.60) as well as inflation which has less effect on total household expenditure (index 123.22).
Bengkulu Province ITK in the third quarter of 2019 is estimated to be pessimistic with an index value of 95.33. This indicates that consumers' perceptions of economic conditions are not so good.
Consumer pessimism in quarter III-2019 was influenced by declining household income estimates (index 96.31) and also plans to buy durable goods (index 93.62).
