Abstract

In August 2018, Bengkulu City experienced a deflation of -1.80 percent. Based on the monitoring of the Central Statistics Agency in 82 cities in Indonesia, 30 cities experienced inflation and 52 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Tarakan at 0.62 percent and the lowest inflation in Medan and Padang Sidempuan at 0.01 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Bau-bau with -2.49 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Jember with -0.01 percent.
