The economy of Bengkulu Province in 2020 decreased by 0.02 percent compared to 2019

Abstract

The economy of Bengkulu Province in 2020 experienced a decline of 0.02 percent when compared to 2019. In terms of production, the highest decline was achieved by the wholesale and retail business fields of minus 3.88 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest decrease was achieved by the component of LNPRT consumption expenditure by minus 6.12 percent. The economy of Bengkulu Province in quarter IV-2020 decreased by 2.39 percent when compared to quarter IV-2019 (y-on-y). From the production side, the largest decline was achieved by the wholesale and retail trade business sector, amounting to minus 9.34 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest decline was in the export component of goods and services by minus 8.02 percent.
