Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Bengkulu Province in June 2020 was recorded at 21.92 percent, up 5.95 points compared to the TPK of hotels in May 2020 which was recorded at 15.97 percent. When compared to the same month in 2019, the ROR of star-rated hotels fell by 37.06 points.

The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) in star-rated hotels in Bengkulu Province in June 2020 was 1.59 days, down 0.38 points compared to the RLMT of hotels in May 2020 which was 1.97 days. When compared to the same month in 2019, the starred hotel RLMT decreased by 0.15 points.

Of the 10 provinces on Sumatra Island, with the ROR for star-rated hotels by 21.92 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks the fifth highest ROR in Sumatra. The highest TPK for the first-class hotel is Lampung Province with a magnitude of 34.73 percent. While the lowest TPK in Sumatra in June 2020 was Aceh Province, which was 13.73 percent.
