Abstract

  • In June 2019, the City of Bengkulu experienced inflation of 0.76 percent. Based on the monitoring of the Central Statistics Agency in 82 cities in Indonesia, 76 cities experienced inflation and 6 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Manado at 3.60 percent and the lowest inflation in Singaraja was 0.02 percent. While the highest deflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan at -0.41 percent and the lowest occurred in Jayapura at -0.08 percent.
  • City of Bengkulu inflation in June 2019 occurred in six expenditure groups and one expenditure group experienced deflation. The expenditure group that experienced the highest inflation was food expenditure group at 3.57 percent, followed by clothing expenditure group by 0.78 percent, health expenditure group by 0.20 percent, processed food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco expenditure group by 0.14 percent, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group by 0.04 percent and the education, recreation and sports expenditure group with inflation of 0.01 percent, while the transportation, communication and financial services expenditure groups experience a deflation of -0, 92 percent.
  • With inflation of 0.76 percent in June 2019, the inflation rate of the calendar year (inflation rate) is 2.81 percent, and annual inflation (year on year) is recorded at 2.69 percent.
