Abstract

The Hotel Occupancy Rate (TPK) in Bengkulu Province in April 2019 was recorded at 57.53 percent, down 7.08 points compared to the hotel TPK in March 2019 which was recorded at 64.61 percent. When compared with the same month in 2018, star-rated ROR of hotels fell by 8.77 points.

The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) in star hotels in Bengkulu Province in April 2019 was 2.02 days, up 0.02 points compared to the hotel RLMT in March 2019 which was recorded at 2.00 days. However, when compared to the same month in 2018, RLMT of star hotels rose by 0.37 points.

Of the 10 Provinces on Sumatra Island, with star-rated TPK of 57.53 percent, Bengkulu Province was ranked as the second highest TPK in Sumatra. The first highest starred TPK Hotel is Lampung Province with the amount of 62.37 percent. While the lowest ROR in Sumatra in April 2019 was the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, which amounted to 39.75 percent.
